Can you do baleroc

The 2nd shard would 4th dps with 9 stacks, 5th dps with 9 stacks, and 1st dps with 7 stacks. This is just a basis queue. The 3rd Shard would 2nd dps with 9 Stacks, 3rd dps with 9 Stacks, and 4th dps with 7 stacks. Shards last 25 secs. They are cast every 35 seconds. The Torment buff lasts 2 seconds.

So the 1st dps will have 49 seconds for the Tormented debuff to wear off before they have to get the torment buff again. The tormented Debuff only lasts 40 seconds so we have a nice buffer.

Feedback is welcome -Randy. Comment by citrique rep awarded on man heroic with guild perk Surprised someone would downrate correct information. Comment by We used the 2 person per crystal method, having the first dps take about 15 stacks of torment, then having another eat the rest two other dps do the same on the other crystal.

Though my warrior's main is a tank, for our raid I am generally used as melee dps. Since there is really no need for high burst damage I substituted the Apparatus with Mirror of Broken images for this fight since I have it for my tank. It has a one minute cooldown which falls in perfect with crystal rotation. At five stacks or so of torment I blow this trinket. By the time your turn comes back around again on the cystal, this trinket will be up again.

This really helps the healers out, as well as gives you one less dps cooldown to worry about so you can focus more on mechanics while first learning the fight. Substituting the tanking trinket for this fight didn't even hurt my dps very much. Comment by ssjheero Keeping in mind the basic building blocks detailed, there are a few ways to beat the boss so long as several tenets are adhered to: Absolute amount of damage done increasing doesn't change the percentage the damage is relative to the tank's health.

A shard spawns every 30 seconds, almost on the dot. It lasts 24 seconds and gives a 6-second breather. This means during each shard, you can fit 2 Vital Flames per healer. Even more is better, and makes the later part of the fight easier.

Land more heals while the shard target has more stacks of torment to greatly outpace Baleroc's damage. Putting all of these together, your healers must be split into two roles: tank healer, stack builder. If they are not healing the tank and using up Vital Flame , they are building up their stacks, and vice versa. This introduces a little bit of riskiness, though, as at first one healer will be ahead of the curve, while the other will be behind the curve.

The reserve healer helps out in that case. This is fixed quickly if the healers build up more than 24 stacks each shard. Overall, this is a finesse fight with a few ways to tackle it. The general two tank method makes Decimation Blade much easier to heal, but it makes Inferno Blade do a slightly higher amount of damage relative to that tank's health. If you're having issues, try switching around roles until you get one that clicks, there is no one path to victory.

Comment by Waterseeker In order to gain access to Baleroc you need to force Shannox to spawn. Comment by Any ideas if Thunderfury would be a good weapon to switch out for the decimation blades? Going to test it out on Baleroc during my next lockout. It'd be good just to switch it out, get the tornado effect on him and then re-equip my normal dps weapons. Don't waste your slow heals triggering the buff: use an instant to trigger, and then pour on the nukes.

The attempt was a wipe because the shaman with 60 stacks of Vital Spark cast a GHW that hit for only 29k. Comment by Hanz0 pro tip : a shadowpriest can take a full crystal. Comment by Catalyst My 10 man group finally got this down tonight. We went with 2 tanks and 3 healers. Two things we did differently that the main tank healer occasionally thru something like Riptide or HW on the torment target to gain a few more stacks periodically, and the decimation tank only took the first and third decimation blades, while the main tank took the second one.

We tried as hard as we could to heal thru all three blades on one tank but just couldn't do it. Maybe with a few more pieces of gear. DPS averaged 18k and we beat the enrage timer by 15 seconds. Good luck to you all! Healers rotated after each shard, one on the shard victims, the others on the active tank. Keep the tanks topped, and don't let the shard victims die, I found putting my glyphed Beacon on each shard victim really helped keeping them up.

Healers need to build up their stacks of Vital Spark by healing the shard victim, but this cant be done while they have the Vital Flame buff, which they get from any direct heal on a tank.

The Vital Flame buff lasts for 15 seconds after the last tank heal. Its a fun fight, good luck! Edit: You can configure Grid to show who has the Torment debuff etc. If you don't avoid the first hit, you'll have a nice boost of dodge for the 2nd hit. And if you dodge the first hit and get hit by the second, the dodge will still be very useful for the incoming auto-attacks before your healers get to top-off 1.

Pretty much the only use I've found for this trinket. Comment by ghp The most convenient setup I've found for Baleroc is to go with 1 tank 3 healers 6 dps in 10 man: We used 4 dps for switching on the shard. The last healer setup was 2 holly paladins and 1 shammy but you should be able to do it with any other healing classes. The healing rotation is : 2 healers switch between healing the tank and healing the tormented people to get Vital Spark buff paladin me and shammy We usually let Vital Flame go 2 times after vital flame expires you get the Vital Spark stacks back which transform back to Vital Flame when you heal the tank so it's about 30 sec switch switch can also be done at 15 sec but you might have some problems getting enough stacks because of not being stacked high enough on players during those 15 sec 1 Vital Spark for each 3 stacks on the player when you heal them.

The switch it's better to occur when the 2nd Vital Flame has about 3 sec left so you will not heal the tank by mistake reset to another Vital Flame. The 3rd healer will always heal tormented people to gain as much stacks of Vital Spark as possible and move in for Decimation Blade to get the tank as fast as possible to full health before the next decimation blade hits, after tank is full or decimation blade ends he will go back to healing the shard people leaving the other 2 healers to switch on healing tank.

If correctly done the 3rd healer should have at least twice as many stacks as the other 2 healers and will act as a backup nuke heal for emergency situations it is even possible to heal up if all Decimation Blade hit in a very unlucky case. Healers should use a low-cost fast heal instant would be perfect to activate Vital Flame since the heal activating it will not benefit from the stacks of Vital Spark.

Have your holly paladins use Aura Mastery for Inferno Blade to reduce the fire dmg. Tank should use mitigation cd during Inferno Blade and avoidance cd during Decimation Blade since the damage cannot be mitigated. I found that it works best to beacon the tank and spam holy light on soakers like crazy. It doesn't keep them up as well if they have many stacks, but they really should be switching at that point. Once you switch to tank healing you lose your stacks buff but instead get a buff which increases healing on a tank.

After 15 seconds it drops and returns your stacks. The duration of Tormented has been reduced on normal difficulty. Comment by Cremators We are doing this fight normal mode with 1 tank - feral druid, 2 healers - discipline priest me and restoration druid, and 7 dps. Comment by Blackmist Talk about nerfed. Just 9 manned this.

Kited him onto the bridge but there must have been some odd glitch as he fell through it. Clipped me on the way, and I fell too. Nobody else could reach, but he didn't seem to hit me after that. Must have gone way over the enrage limit, but I pretty much solo'd him. Wish I'd logged it now. Anyway, after he was dead I think I died from a DoT.

After ressing, my beard was white for some reason, but was grey before. Couldn't reach the loot either, I'll have to submit a ticket about both those. Anyway, we managed it just in time to defeat Sauron. Sincerely, Gandalf. Our healadin used aura mastery on 20, and our disc priest used suppression or barrier on For all other shards I made 2 groups of 3. So, the 2nd shard and 4th, 6th, 8th had the warlock and boomkin, swap places on stacks they could stand "next" to eachother since warlock took first and ported away.

Whoever did not have torment took the first one, if neither had torment they went with above rota. The 2 hunters were backup, non-assigned. If a shard came up, I looked at the 2 persons who had to take it and if they had torment, if so I called on vent and ran to it to grab it.

If I had torment, I told the other hunter to. Whichever hunter took it first then told who they wanted to take it off them from the original group. Why hunters? And we have disengage to move faster! Tank popped cd on first blades. Then once that shard vanished the disc and paladin swapped to tankhealing and resto to shard healing - this rotation stays the same.

If the resto is tormented happend twice one healer would assist on shards, unless decimation blade was up, then dps used a cd. That was all, no one died or came close to dying. On second kill with a different healadin he got which was still enough to last the fight. Addition for healers: Blow your mana cooldowns after the second shard. So in our case, priest would pop hymn since the paladin could easily soloheal with tank being on low stacks.

After hymn, paladin used plea which he kept using during non-blade. Also had the paladin beacon our rogue on second kill due to no damage mitigation to keep him alive for th tick.

The Death Knights were the only ones on the crystals, and they would use Anti-Magic Zone to deal with higher stacks of Torment. The Druid tank was apparently quite well geared with a very high amount of Dodge, enabling him to take both blades. We managed to defeat him on the first try, although there were two deaths among the DKs from unknown causes one of whom was battle rezzed , and I had to step into the rotation.
