I have not seen a difference between SC and the older powder I am loading this for a. The only difference as I understand it is that the SC was designed to work through powder measures better which it does. The longer grains do not feed well at all in some measures.
Thats my They have performed identically for me. Like everyone else I rushed to get the newer SC version but have now switched back. If you have sufficient case capacity for the H long you are probably better off. Now how about that SSC super-short cut??????????

Re-chroned same loads in clear blue sky last week. Rain made errant chrono reading. All primers look the same, equally flat and hammered. Soft Fed M? I dunno. This is just to correct my incorrect conclusion posted earlier. John, That might also have been due to the dampness causing a better seal in the chamber, increasing pressures.
